MAC Rocker Lipstick ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is a deep red with strong, cool pink undertones and a satin finish with faint pearl. It had good color coverage in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly, though I noticed it didn't adhere as well to the inner area of my lips. When I could get the blue highlight around the swatch, this worked - I was able to press the delete key to delete the swatch. In some cases, I could not get the highlight to appear around the swatch. All MAC Viva Glam Lipsticks Shades Review, Swatches

These lipsticks come in classic MAC lipstick packaging. The A shell is metallic red in these lipsticks. Also, the MAC engraving on the cap is again red in colour. Overall, Really like the packaging of these lipsticks. I have travelled with MAC lipsticks all the time and I have a habit of keeping all my makeup in compact pouches. So far, MAC lipsticks never get messed up in the bag.

Formula, Texture

Well the lipsticks in this range have different formulas and finishes. Hence I will talk about them when I talk about the individual lipsticks. How to update computer mac. However I will say that all these lipsticks glide on very smoothly on the lips and are easy to apply. None of the shades tug on the lips. In fact I would suggest lining the lips before applying any dark coloured lipstick. This defines the margins of the lips well and the outcome is very crisp and sculpted looking lips.

MAC Viva Glam 1 Matte Lipstick Review

Viva glam I is one of the most gorgeous reds ever. MAC describes it as Intense brownish blue-red in a matte finish. Its a medium-deep red with warm and slightly brown undertones. Every single skin tone can flaunt this shade. The shade basically is my personal favourite from this entire range. Viva glam 1 has a comfortable matte finish. The texture is really smooth. In fact, this lipstick lasts well on me for 5 to 6 hours. Finally, as it fades, it leaves a beautiful reddish stain on the lips which stains the lips evenly.

MAC Viva Glam 2 Satin Lipstick Review

Viva Glam II is a pinky n*de shade. MAC describes it as Muted pink-beige with shimmer in satin finish. It has slightly warm undertones. This shade will suit fair to light skin tones. It has a satiny matte finish. The texture of the lipstick is really smooth and it never goes patchy.

MAC Viva Glam 3 Matte Lipstick Review

MAC describes it as Muted brownish-plum in a matte finish. I see it more as a red-plum shade. It has strong warm undertones. If you're into deep plum shades, you're going to love this. It has a comfortable matte finish. This shade again leaves an even stain on the lips after it fades. Therefore, my second favourite shade from this range.

MAC Viva Glam 4 Frost Lipstick Review

MAC describes Viva Glam IV as mid tone rose with gold pearl in a frost finish. I would describe the shade as a beautiful pinky-berry shade. In fact, it looks amazing on a variety of skin tones specially light to medium skin tones. This shade does not last as long as the rest of the shades but it does last pretty well for a frost finish lipstick. It feels very comfortable on the lips also, never lets the lips feel dry.

MAC Viva Glam 5 Lustre Lipstick Review

MAC says Viva Glam V is a Neutral pink with pearl in Lustre finish. The description is pretty perfect for the shade I feel. Also, this lipstick is more sheer and isn't as pigmented as the matte shades from this range. If you're someone who enjoys sheer finish lipsticks with a very natural shiny pink colour on the lips, you will surely love it. Overall, it wears well on the lips without making them feel dry.

MAC Viva Glam 6 Lustre Lipstick Review

MAC describes Viva Glam VI as a Terracotta-plum with pearl in Lustre finish. For me this is a sheer yet deep terracotta shade which has a shiny lustre finish on the lips. It looks gorgeous on fair as well as medium skin tones. In fact, if you're a fan of neutral everyday wear terracotta shade lipsticks, this is going to be your best friend. MAC lustre formula is known to have a sheer finish with a hydrating feel; therefore, this one is exactly that.

MAC Ariana Grande 2 Viva Glam Matte Lipstick Review

According to MAC, it is a fresh and cheeky matte orchid pink. This particular shade in the viva glam range is in fact a limited edition. Its a very bright magenta shade with lots of purple as well as pink undertones. Also, it has a satin finish. The packaging of this lipstick is slightly more amazing. The A shell actually has Ariana Grande's signature on it and it just makes the packaging seem so much more authentic and personalised by Ariana. This lipstick is deeply pigmented therefore would be loved by ladies who enjoy a pop of colour on their lips. 🙂

Wearability, Staying Power

The lustre and satin finish formulas feel more comfortable on the lips as well as do not ever dry out the lips. However the matte shades do feel a little drying after 5 hours of wear. But if you do prep your lips well, it won't be a problem. The matte lipsticks last for 5-6 hours properly before fading evenly. The satin lipsticks last about 4-5 hours. The lustre lipsticks last around 3 hours on the lips.
